    1. Process purpose

Apply a continuous pattern to coil or sheet and deliver flat cut sheets (or recoiled strip). This page is a process map only — thickness, speed, and motor ratings stay on the embossing overview and config-tier pages.

    2. Full-line steps

Recommended thick-line (full package) wording from the embossing FAQ:

    1. Automatic decoil (± coil car)
    2. Entry level / feed
    3. Dual-roll emboss
    4. Exit level
    5. Hydraulic shear to length
    6. Exit table

Industry modular lines follow the same emboss core; entry and exit modules vary by proposal.

    3. Alternate exits

    • Recoil after emboss (coil service-center layout) — no shear
    • Stand-alone emboss head without full decoil / shear package
    • Cut-sheet delivery — shear + exit table as on the thick-line package

    4. Station roles

    StationRole
DecoilPay-off coil; optional coil car for loading
Entry levelFlatten strip before emboss for pattern consistency
EmbossMatched patterned rolls press the sample pattern
    Exit levelRe-flatten after emboss depth
    Hydraulic shearCut-to-length for sheet delivery
Exit / recoilerCollect sheets or rewind strip

    5. Boundaries

    • Do not copy 0–6 / 0–10 / 1–6 m/min or 22 / 7.5 / 11 kW into this process page as a single invented band.
    • Pattern sample selection is contract tooling — not a process-flow decision alone.
    • Not CNC engraving; not a roof-panel main mill flow.

    6. Buyer FAQ

    Where do 0–6 vs 0–10 m/min belong?

On the named thickness tier (thick-line vs 1220×1.5 vs CZ1600) — not averaged on this process map.

    Is shear always after emboss?

On full cut-sheet lines, yes. Recoil-only layouts omit shear; stand-alone heads may omit both decoil and shear.

    Why two levelers?

Entry level prepares flat strip for consistent emboss depth; exit level reduces residual bow after patterning before shear or recoil.

Does process order change with pattern type?

Core order stays decoil → level → emboss → level → exit. Pattern only changes the roll set, not the station sequence.

Process map only. Final ratings follow the embossing proposal. Price and lead time are out of scope.
