Our Story

2006–2014: The Field Engineer Years

Our founder spent eight years as a field engineer, traveling to client sites around the world to install, commission, and maintain cold roll forming machines. That job meant showing up at factories in Nigeria, Russia, Vietnam, Brazil, and dozens of other countries — sometimes spending weeks at a single site getting a production line running.

Working on the ground, he kept seeing the same problems. Buyers struggled to find manufacturers who could actually deliver machines that met their technical requirements. Specifications got lost in translation. Voltage standards, safety requirements, and operating habits varied from country to country. Some buyers ordered equipment that arrived and could not run properly because nobody had asked the right questions upfront.

That experience shaped everything that came after.

2014–2020: Building the Manufacturing Base

In 2014, our founder teamed up with several senior engineers from the roll forming industry and established the manufacturing operation in Botou, Hebei Province — a region with a long history in metal forming machinery. They started with machine installation, customized accessory upgrades, and maintenance services for existing clients, then expanded into full equipment manufacturing.

The early advantage was real-world experience. Because the team had spent years fixing other people's machines, they knew what design choices caused problems on the factory floor. That knowledge went into every machine they built.

Over the next few years, the company developed customized solutions for clients across different markets:

• US roofing and floor deck factories: high-speed roll forming lines optimized for production speeds up to 70m/min
• Korean roof sheet manufacturers: dedicated hot-press PE laminating machines
• Russia and Azerbaijan clients: double-side overlapping glazed tile machines

2020–2024: Going Global

As export volumes grew, the company set up an international trade arm to handle the logistics, documentation, and after-sales support that cross-border equipment sales require. Equipment was shipped to over 100 countries. The team built relationships with buyers across Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

But a pattern kept repeating. Buyers would find the company through word of mouth, trade shows, or online searches — but only after they had already wasted time and money on suppliers who could not deliver. The problem was not a shortage of capable manufacturers in China. The problem was that buyers had no reliable way to find them, verify them, and start a conversation.

2025–Present: Building ZTRFM

That gap is why ZTRFM exists. Instead of being just another manufacturer website, ZTRFM is a platform where buyers can find multiple verified suppliers, compare capabilities, request factory audits, and manage the entire sourcing process — from RFQ to order to delivery — in one place.

The platform launched with a focus on cold roll forming and metal processing equipment. That is deliberate. We know this industry inside out, and we know what questions buyers need answered before they commit to a purchase. By keeping the focus narrow, we can vet suppliers properly and match them with buyers who actually need what they make.

ZTRFM is operated by Zhongtuo Cold Bending Technology (Hebei) Co., Ltd., with manufacturing resources from Cangzhou Zhongtuo Cold Roll Forming Machinery Co., Ltd. and international trade support from Cangzhou Zhongtuo International Trade Co., Ltd.
