    1. Definition

A metal sheet embossing line presses decorative or functional patterns with a matched pair of embossing rolls. Full lines may include decoiler (with coil car), entry leveler, emboss head, exit leveler, hydraulic shear, and exit table. English names include metal sheet embossing machine / embossing line; Chinese names include 压花机 / 金属板压花生产线.

The core is the patterned rolls — willow leaf, wood grain, diamond, tear-drop, and other samples. It is not CNC engraving and not a roof-tile / decking main forming mill. Pattern follows the customer sample, not one default pattern for the whole family.

    2. Process and applications

    Recommended thick-line (full package) wording:

    1. Automatic decoil (± coil car)
    2. Entry level / feed
    3. Dual-roll emboss
    4. Exit level
    5. Hydraulic shear to length
    6. Exit table

Applications. Anti-slip plate, decorative embossed sheet, and related metal-sheet pattern production. Coil emboss + recoiler layouts without shear are a different exit story — confirm composition on the contract.

    3. Reference parameters (keep tiers separate)

3.1 Thick-line baseline (recommended full line)

    ItemDocumented reference
    Emboss speedAbout 0–6 m/min
Emboss / leveler / shear powerEmboss about 22 kW; entry and exit levelers about 7.5 kW each; shear hydraulic about 5.5 kW
RollsAbout Ø500×1650 mm, 9Cr2Mo solid forge, hard chrome face
Thickness / width notesAbout 4 mm; width notes about 1250 mm (also 4×1500 — confirm coil width)
Drive noteGearbox linking dual emboss rolls; inverter brand per proposal

3.2 Thin tiers — do not merge with thick-line

TierThickness / widthSpeed / power notes
    1220×1.5 thinMax about 1.5 mm × 1220About 0–10 m/min; emboss motor about 7.5 kW
    CZ1600 thinAbout 0.8–1.2 mm × ~1250; face ~1400About 1–6 m/min; drive about 11 kW; exit leveler about 4 kW

Same-family willow-leaf quotes (e.g. 1–3 / 3–6 mm bands) are additional tiers — list beside; do not invent a merged thickness or motor.

    4. Conflicts and open items

    • Thickness — 4 mm thick-line vs 1.5 mm vs 0.8–1.2 mm CZ1600. Name the quotation when answering.
    • Speed — 0–6 vs 0–10 vs 1–6 m/min. Keep on the named tier.
    • Motor — 22 kW is the thick-line emboss motor, not a series-wide standard.
    • Width — 1250 vs 1500 wording on thick-line sources. Contract coil width decides.

    5. Boundaries (related machines)

    • CNC engraving / milling — Different process; not this dual-roll emboss head.
    • Roof-tile / decking main mills — Profile roll forming; emboss rolls are not their core tooling.
    • Stand-alone emboss head — May omit decoil / shear package; confirm BOM.
    • Coil emboss + recoiler service lines — Exit is recoiled strip, not cut sheets by default.

    6. Buyer FAQ

Is this a checkered-plate mill only?

No. Pattern follows the customer sample / contract rolls — willow leaf, wood grain, diamond, tear-drop, and others.

Is 22 kW the standard motor for every embossing line?

No. About 22 kW is the thick-line emboss motor. Thin 1220×1.5 is about 7.5 kW; CZ1600 drive is about 11 kW.

Does every line include hydraulic shear?

Not by default on every proposal. Full thick-line packages include shear and exit table; recoil-only and stand-alone heads may omit shear.

Is this the same as a roof-panel forming mill?

No. Roof-tile / decking mills form profile ribs. This machine’s core is patterned embossing rolls.

Final ratings follow the named embossing proposal. Price and lead time are out of scope.
