    Triple-Layer Roof Tile Forming Machines

    25August 19, 2026
A triple-layer roof mill is three profile stacks on one frame. Thickness, speed and power stay with that drawing. Dual-layer builds such as 18.5 kW HS40 keep their own two-deck ratings.

    1. Three decks, one frame

A triple-layer (三层彩钢瓦) mill puts three roll sets in one housing so one plant can batch three roof or wall sheets. Only one deck runs at a time on typical designs — same rule as double-layer. Shared decoiler, cut and PLC. The third stack is extra tooling and extra height; high-speed dual-layer 18.5 kW stays on that two-deck quotation.

    2. What the triple FAQ allows

A triple-layer mill is three stacks on one frame. Thickness, speed and power stay with that drawing: they are not mixed with trapezoid, Russian profiles, standing seam, or curving, and there is no public “typical 22 kW triple mill.” Commercial terms come back on the offer.

    3. Dual-layer neighbours (not this mill)

Use these only as two-deck references, labeled:

BuildTwo-deck neighbour (not the triple mill)
    Standard dual-layerCorrugated ~0.12–0.3 mm / trapezoid ~0.3–0.55 mm; 1000 mm feed; 5 t decoiler; φ70; upper ~17 / lower ~24; 0–20 m/min; main ~5.5 kW; hyd cut ~5.5; station ~4.5
    High-speed dual-layerG550 ~0.3–0.5 mm; 18.5 kW form; 16/17 stands; φ85; 30–40 m/min; servo cut ~11 kW; ~10 t hyd uncoiler; ~12 m stack
    Process-library dual-layer tile20+22 passes; shafts 75/80; 220 V/60 Hz; main 5.5 + hyd 5.5; 0–15 m/min; stop-cut; corrugated 0.18–0.40 / trapezoid 0.35–0.70; 5 t hyd decoiler + car; 8 m stacker

    Corrugated 18-stand single-skin with shear-bend is another neighbour. Glazed-tile codes (780/828/950/1100) are single-layer families.

    4. How layer change usually works

Clutch, handle, or hydraulic shift selects the live deck. Thickness bands often differ by profile — on dual-layer they already split corrugated vs trapezoid. A triple quote must name all three drawings. Typical designs run one deck at a time on a shared drive.

    5. What to send so the third deck is quoted from the drawing

    1. Three finished profiles (CAD)
    2. Thickness per profile — write each deck, not one band for all three
    3. Which deck is which (upper / mid / lower)
    4. Cut: stop hydraulic vs tracking
    5. Decoiler mass and voltage
    6. Whether glazed tile or standing seam is hiding in the “third layer” request

    6. Buyer FAQ

Is triple just double-layer plus one stack?

Mechanically that is the idea. Commercially it is a new quotation. Frame height, pass counts and drive are not the 20+22 dual-layer sheet.

    Can I use 30–40 m/min from HS dual-layer?

That table is G550 high-speed two-deck with tracking cut. Triple-layer ratings stay on the triple-layer drawing.

Does 220 V/60 Hz on the dual-layer named process quotation apply?

Only to that quotation. Triple voltage follows its own proposal.

No locked triple-layer kW is published here. Dual-layer numbers are neighbors only.
