    Arch Roofing Machines

    22August 19, 2026
Arch roofing is four different machines: on-site K-span, large-span arch beam, shop corrugated with post-form bend, and a motor curver beside standing seam. Speeds for flat, arch and seam stay separate.

    1. Four machines behind one search

Arch roofing machine is used for a jobsite K-span that forms, curves and sews a beamless hall; for a shop mill whose last stand rolls an arch beam; for a corrugated line that cuts and bends an arc into a sheet; and for a small curver that radii standing-seam panels. They do not share kW or m/min.

    2. On-site K-span (beamless shell)

MIC240 class (often labeled 914–610): coil is formed flat, cut to the developed footer-to-footer length, then curved, then seamed into a continuous shell. It is not a ground-mounted trapezoid mill.

    Item on MIC240 wikiCited value
    Speeds (keep three bands)Flat ~15 m/min; arch ~13 m/min; seam ~16 m/min
    Power splitTotal motors ~19.7 kW; main ~7.5; curving ~3.0 + 1.5×2; shear ~4.0; conical ~1.1+1.1
    WidthFeed ~914 mm → product ~610 mm
Thickness~0.6–1.5 mm on the MIC240 class page
Forming~13+1 steps including lead rubber roll
Decoiler / span cited~10 t, ID ~450–650 mm; span ~5–40 m depends on thickness and engineering

Larger 1250–800 class machines in the same pack may quote different total power. MIC240 keeps its own motor list. Flat, arch and seam speeds stay as three numbers, not one average.

    3. Large-span arch beam (shop host)

Process-library large-span arch beam: PPGI 0.8–1.5 mm, feed 1200 mm, 10 stands, the 10th stand roll-bends/arches, shaft Ø110, ~10 m/min, scrapless cut, 1 cm bend both ends, PLC arch angle. One panel max span to 30 m on that sheet. 380 V/50 Hz. Companion simple slit/CTL and a 10 t hyd decoiler + car live on other pages.

This is a formed beam with an arched last pass — not the MIC240 sew-together shell, not 914→610.

    4. Corrugated sheet with a post-form bend

A named corrugated/arc roof-sheet line forms then hydraulically cuts with bending in one station. 18 stands, Ø80, forming main 7.5 kW, 0–20 m/min, 0.2–0.8 mm, feed 1000–1250 mm, 5 t manual decoiler, hyd bend 5.5 kW, Siemens. Upper and lower layers can run alone. The bend angle lives in the PLC. That is a single-skin sheet with an arc in the length, not a K-span hall.

    5. Motor curver beside standing seam

Standing-seam quotations often pair a motor curving machine for radius panels. The standing-seam wiki is explicit: curving power is not the host rating (host baseline there is ~5.5 kW main / ~3 kW hyd). Specify the curver as an auxiliary.

    6. What to send

    1. Job: beamless hall / arch beam / curved sheet / curved standing seam
    2. Span, radius, developed length
    3. Feed width and finished coverage
    4. Thickness and coating
    5. Whether seaming (K-span sew) is in the same unit
    6. Site power vs shop 380 V/50 Hz

    7. Buyer FAQ

Is a K-span the same as an arched corrugated sheet?

No. K-span cuts flat then curves then sews. The 18-stand sheet mill bends at the shear for a single-skin arc.

    Can I average 15 / 13 / 16 m/min?

No. Those are flat, arch and seam bands on MIC240.

    Does 30 m span on the arch-beam quotation replace 5–40 m on MIC240?

No. 30 m is that beam sheet. 5–40 m is a cited K-span engineering band, not a guarantee.

Will a standing-seam mill arch panels if I slow it down?

Not unless you bought the curver. Host kW does not include it.

MIC240 motor split, arch-beam Ø110, and corrugated 7.5 kW forming main are three quotations. Commercial terms come back on the offer.
