    Multi-Layer Roofing Solution

    One mill that sells two (or three) roof profiles, and a barrel corrugator that sells a curved sheet, are different hosts. The worked example below is barrel corrugation, because that host has locked units (pcs/min). Double-layer has named kW on several quotations. Triple-layer waits for your drawing — there is no single thickness / speed / kW to print as a nameplate.

    example below (Al 2 mm / GI 1 mm, 22 kW×2, 10–15 pcs/min)double-layer. Standard wiki ~5.5 kW, 0–20 m/min, about 17/24 stands; high-speed 18.5 kW, 30–40 m/min, Φ85; process-library tile 20+22 stands, 5.5+5.5 kW, 0–15 m/min, 220 V / 60 Hz. Pick the file that matches the profilessend both (or all three) profile drawings. A unique kW and m/min is not published as one nameplatemetal roofing solution, one roll set

    Who it's for

    Roof-sheet plants that want two profiles on one footprint, buyers asking for three tile layers, and shops that form barrel-corrugated sheets counted as pieces.

    Two profiles

    Double-layer is two roll sets

    Upper and lower stands, one cut. Several quotations exist — each keeps its kW.

    Three

    Triple-layer needs the drawing

    Engineering opens a custom file. Double-layer tables stay on those quotations.

    Barrel

    Output is pcs/min

    Ø500 × 6 m sheets are counted as pieces, not metres of strip.

    How to choose a line

    1. Barrel-corrugated sheet, Ø500 × 6 m class -> example below (Al 2 mm / GI 1 mm, 22 kW×2, 10–15 pcs/min)
    2. Two roof profiles on one mill -> double-layer. Standard wiki ~5.5 kW, 0–20 m/min, about 17/24 stands; high-speed 18.5 kW, 30–40 m/min, Φ85; process-library tile 20+22 stands, 5.5+5.5 kW, 0–15 m/min, 220 V / 60 Hz. Pick the file that matches the profiles
    3. Three tile / roof layers on one mill -> send both (or all three) profile drawings. A unique kW and m/min is not published as one nameplate
    4. Single trapezoid or glazed tile -> metal roofing solution, one roll set
    5. Standing seam -> standing-seam solution

    What's included

    Barrel vs double vs triple choice, one barrel example in pcs/min, double-layer as named neighbours, triple-layer quoted from drawings, and a quote checklist.

    What to send for a quote

    1. Barrel sheet vs double-layer vs triple-layer vs single profile
    2. Each profile drawing (coverage, rib height, tile vs trapezoid)
    3. Thickness and alloy (barrel file: Al 2 mm / GI 1 mm)
    4. Whether output is m/min or pcs/min
    5. Site voltage (double-layer tile file is 220 V / 60 Hz)
    6. Year-one mix: which profile you run most
    7. If three layers: all three drawings in one RFQ

    Check before you quote

    Units

    Barrel is pcs/min

    10–15 is pieces per minute on that quotation, not metres per minute.

    Double

    Three double-layer files

    ~5.5 kW, 18.5 kW and 5.5+5.5 kW / 220 V / 60 Hz are three quotations.

    Triple

    No single triple nameplate

    Send the drawings. Double-layer tables stay on the double-layer quotations.

    FAQ

    Can I use double-layer kW on a triple mill?

    Double-layer quotations stay on those files. Triple-layer is quoted from the three profile drawings.

    Is barrel the same as decorative emboss?

    Barrel forms a curved corrugated sheet counted in pcs/min. Emboss is a pattern roll pair on the decorative-panel solution.

    How are price and lead time quoted?

    Send the quote checklist. Commercial terms come back on the offer.
