Online (pre-form) punching holes the flat strip with servo feed before the section is fully formed. Post-form punching hits the shaped channel after roll forming (including offline dual-press layouts on some seismic packages).

On the 41-series family these are configuration variants — not a reason to invent a new machine family name.

• Press tonnage, die set, and servo pitch change with timing
