    1. Definition

Russia-profile C-series corrugated lines produce wall and roof sheets for Russia and other CIS markets under codes such as C8, C20, C21, C35, C44, and C60 (профнастил / proflist). Coil — galvanized, aluminum, or color-coated — is roll-formed into a trapezoidal or corrugated section matched to the local profile drawing.

Public machine catalogs widely sell “Russia style” C8 / C10 / C21 / C44 packages with Russian/English HMI options. That market naming does not mean one universal BOM: each C-code needs its own roll set and parameter confirmation.

    2. What the C-codes mean

In Russian market practice (aligned with GOST 24045-family marking), the letter and number encode profile class and nominal wave / rib height in millimeters:

    • C — typically wall / cladding oriented (стеновой); higher codes are also used on roofs depending on project load
    • Number — nominal profile height (C8 ≈ 8 mm; C20 ≈ 20 mm class, often about 18 mm on some commercial sheets; C21 ≈ 21 mm; and so on)

Buyers should still lock geometry from the active profile drawing. Commercial sheets sometimes deviate slightly from the nominal digit under maker TU tolerances.

    3. Typical process flow

    1. Uncoiling (series reference: coil ID about 450–550 mm; capacity about 5 t)
    2. Guide feeding
    3. Roll forming
    4. Shear / cut-to-length
    5. Product exit

    4. C8 configuration baseline

A documented C8 line baseline (shallow wall/fence-class sheet):

    ItemTypical value
    ThicknessAbout 0.3–0.7 mm
Yield strength band (typical)About 245–350 MPa; confirm against the project drawing / contract
    Feed width1250 mm
Pitch / wave heightPitch about 115 mm; height about 8 mm
Formed widthConfirm on drawing / contract (not locked as one public number on that baseline)
    SpeedAbout 8–12 m/min
    Main / hydraulicAbout 5.5 kW / 3 kW
Shaft / stationsAbout φ80 mm; about 18 passes
    Line size / massAbout 16.5 × 1.65 × 1.5 m; about 5 t

The 8 mm height and ~115 mm pitch align with common public descriptions of профнастил С8.

    5. C20 configuration baseline

    ItemTypical value
    ThicknessAbout 0.3–0.6 mm
    Feed width1250 mm
    Formed widthAbout 1200 mm
    SpeedAbout 5–8 m/min
    Main / hydraulicAbout 5.5 kW / 3 kW
    StationsAbout 15 passes
Shaft classSeries layouts often use about φ80; confirm on the technical proposal for the selected C20 line

Wave geometry note: In the market, C20 encodes a ~20 mm class height (many commercial sheets run near 18 mm) with a pitch different from C8. Do not assume C8’s 8 mm height on a C20 order. Confirm pitch and wave height on the C20 drawing before freezing tooling.

    6. C21 / C35 / C44 / C60

These codes share the same process family and often the same series baselines (feed commonly 1250 mm class; yield strength band about 245–350 MPa; decoiler about 5 t). Speed, power, stand count, and exact formed width must be taken from each code’s own drawing and technical proposal — do not copy C8 or C20 numbers across.

Public vendor pages for C21 / C44 show a wide spread of speeds and kW; treat them as market context only.

    7. Materials and controls

    • Materials: galvanized, aluminum, or color-coated steel within the thickness band of the selected code
    • Rollers often specified as GCr15 class with chrome; final roller steel grade follows the confirmed order specification
    • Controls: typical packages mention Panasonic-class PLC / HMI / inverter with Omron encoder; Schneider-class low-voltage parts appear as options — brands may change by contract

    8. Related machines

    • Floor deck H60 / H75 — structural decking family; not answered with C-series roof/wall ratings
    • Glazed-tile lines — stepped tile embossing; different product family
    • Double-layer C8+C20 packages — exist in the market as combo hosts; still two geometries, not one merged rating table

    9. Inquiry checklist

    • Exact C-code and profile drawing (height, pitch, cover width)
    • Material grade, thickness, coating
    • Single-code line vs double-layer combo
    • Decoiler duty, cut mode, stacking
    • HMI language (Russian / English) and voltage

    10. Buyer FAQ

Is C8 the same machine as C20?

No. Different roll sets, thickness bands, speeds, and station counts. C8 is the shallow ~8 mm class; C20 is a deeper market code — confirm geometry on the drawing.

Can I use one 1250 mm coil for every C-code?

Feed is often 1250 mm class in series baselines, but formed width and tooling still change by code. Match coil to the selected machine.

    Are floor-deck numbers usable here?

No. H60 / H75 decking belongs to the floor-deck family.

Final ratings follow the confirmed technical proposal for the selected C-code. Price and lead time are out of scope.
