This page maps the glue configuration of an EPS / rockwool composite panel plant: roll-formed metal skins are bonded to pre-cut core boards with sprayed adhesive and heat, then flying-sawn to length. It is not a continuous full-core polyurethane foam mill, and it is not a PU-edge rockwool continuous plant. Core infeed on the recommended quotation is typically manual into the composite machine.
Industry EPS line explainers describe the same spine — decoil → form → glue / heat laminate → cut — as background. Station names and automation level still follow the named proposal.
| Checkpoint | Documented reference (keep separate) |
|---|---|
| Whole-line / composite speed | About 5 m/min on the recommended Algeria-class quote |
| Upper roll-form station | Work speed about 12 m/min — not the composite line speed |
| Short-table coexist band | About 0–4 m/min / ~28 kW / ~33 m length — shallow variant; do not lock as the only answer |
| Total power / mass / footprint | ~50 kW / ~10 t / about 40×2.5×2.8 m recommended |
| Face / coil / core | PPGI ~0.4–0.6 mm; coil ≤1250 mm; product thick ~50–250 mm (customer) |
It is not on this glue flow. PU edge sealing belongs to the PU-edge rockwool process page. This configuration bonds with adhesive and heat only unless a contract explicitly adds edge options.
No. About 12 m/min is a forming-station work speed on the recommended sheet. Whole-line / composite work is about 5 m/min — publish both labeled, never one merged “EPS speed.”
Yes as a core option on the glue configuration — EPS or rockwool boards are hand-fed into the composite machine on the recommended wording. That still does not turn the plant into a PU-edge continuous rockwool line.
That is a short-table coexist band in the same family. Name which quotation the proposal follows; do not average 50 kW with 28 kW into one public figure.
Process map for the glue configuration only. Final ratings follow the confirmed technical proposal. Price and lead time are out of scope.
