    1. Definition

Steel door and shutter projects usually involve four different cold roll forming line families:

    1. Roller shutter slat lines (curtain profiles; optional PU double-layer variants)
    2. Door frame / door-leaf edge profile lines
    3. Garage door continuous foaming panel lines (wide sandwich panels with double-belt curing)
    4. Guide / slide / shutter-box / door-rail lines

Buyers often treat a “complete roller shutter package” as one machine. In practice these are different hosts. One plant can run several lines, but inquiry and selection must follow the part you need to produce. Industry buyer notes likewise separate slat machines from guide-rail / bottom-bar machines and from garage panel continuous lines.

    2. Applications

    • Slats — shop, warehouse, and industrial roller shutter curtains
    • Frames — steel door frames and door-leaf edge sections
    • Garage panels — residential/commercial sectional garage sandwich panels
    • Guides / boxes — side guides, slides, shutter boxes, door rails that complete a shutter system

    4. Boundaries

    • Start from the part: slat, frame, garage panel, or guide/box.
    • A full shutter project often needs both a slat line and a guide/box line — confirm parameters separately.
    • Never reuse garage continuous-line speed or panel width as shutter-slat ratings (or the reverse).
    • Never publish one “door machine” power figure that averages all four families.

    5. Buyer FAQ

Can one machine make slats and garage foamed panels?

Not as the same host class. Garage continuous foaming panel lines and shutter slat lines are different equipment families.

We need a “complete shutter package” — one quote?

You can purchase multiple lines together, but each line keeps its own process and ratings. Inquire by part.

    Where do door frames fit?

On a door frame / leaf profile line — not on the slat mill and not on the garage foaming line.

Are guides included inside a slat-line quote?

Only if the proposal explicitly lists them. Default assumption: separate guide/box equipment.

Ratings follow the confirmed technical proposal. Price and lead time are out of scope.
