    Tube & Pipe Processing Solution

    Pipe-making is several hosts: ERW round/square, lockform duct, a recipe tube (ZP-S40), or punched + laser square tube. Straightening sits on the mill as a station. The example below is ERW 254. HG76 and 114 mill sheets keep their own kW.

    ERW 254 (example below)those mill sheets (~560 kW on HG76 wiki; ~940 kW on 114 push-square). Speed bands on HG76 stay on that wiki (30–80 and 60–90 are both written there)30 stands ×2, 15 kW×2 ABB, 25 m/min, 1.2–1.8 mm split on that quotation, 380 V / 50 HzZP-S40 laser, 220 V / 60 Hz (no 40-stand table on that quotation)

    Who it's for

    Tube plants that weld from coil, HVAC shops that lockform duct, and furniture / rack plants that punch and laser-cut square tube. Hot-strip mills and CGL belong on a steel-mill conversation.

    Weld

    ERW is a weld mill

    Round and square ranges sit on the 254 file. Speed is not copied from HG76.

    Duct

    Lockform is HVAC

    30 stands ×2, 15 kW×2 ABB, 25 m/min on that quotation.

    Station

    Straighten on the mill

    Ask where the straighteners sit. They are not a separate nameplate kW on these files.

    How to choose a line

    1. Round and square from coil, 3–8 mm, 15 t coil -> ERW 254 (example below)
    2. Smaller ERW family (HG76 / 114) -> those mill sheets (~560 kW on HG76 wiki; ~940 kW on 114 push-square). Speed bands on HG76 stay on that wiki (30–80 and 60–90 are both written there)
    3. HVAC lockform duct -> 30 stands ×2, 15 kW×2 ABB, 25 m/min, 1.2–1.8 mm split on that quotation, 380 V / 50 Hz
    4. Recipe tube ASTM A1011, ID 37.59 / OD 42.16 / t 2.29 -> ZP-S40 laser, 220 V / 60 Hz (no 40-stand table on that quotation)
    5. Punched + laser square tube -> about 40 stands, 22 kW, 6–12 m/min, 6 kW laser, 380 V / 60 Hz. Five straighteners on that process page belong to this mill, not to ZP-S40
    6. Rainwater downpipe -> rainwater solution (Ø75, 22 stands)
    7. Melt shop / hot strip / CGL -> steel-mill OEMs; this page is cold forming and ERW

    What's included

    ERW vs lockform vs recipe tube vs punched+laser, one 254 example, straightening as a mill station, steel-mill routed out, and a quote checklist.

    What to send for a quote

    1. Finished OD / square size / wall and standard (ASTM, EN, or recipe like ZP-S40)
    2. ERW weld vs lockform vs laser cut
    3. Coil weight and strip width
    4. Hole map and whether laser is on the same mill
    5. Where straighteners sit (count and roll type)
    6. Site voltage / frequency (254 example 380 V / 60 Hz; ZP-S40 220 V / 60 Hz; lockform 380 V / 50 Hz)
    7. If the search is “steel manufacturing mill”: send melt / hot-strip / CGL to that OEM instead

    Check before you quote

    Speed

    254 quotation lists no line speed

    HG76 speed bands stay on the HG76 wiki. They are not copied onto 254.

    ZP-S40

    Recipe tube vs punched mill

    ZP-S40 is a size recipe at 220 V / 60 Hz. The ~40-stand punched+laser mill is 380 V / 60 Hz.

    kW

    HG76 and 114 are mill sheets

    ~560 kW and ~940 kW belong on those ERW families, not on lockform or ZP-S40.

    FAQ

    Is tube straightening a separate machine?

    On these files it is a station on the mill. Ask for the straightener count on the quotation you buy.

    Is ZP-S40 the same as the 40-stand punched mill?

    ZP-S40 is a recipe tube at 220 V / 60 Hz. Punched + laser square tube is about 40 stands, 22 kW, 380 V / 60 Hz.

    How are price and lead time quoted?

    Send the quote checklist. Commercial terms come back on the offer.
