Two profiles, one host
dual-layer lines use a path brake so only one layer runs at a time.

Dual-layer floor-deck line: two profiles on one host, one layer live at a time. Example: 23+31 stands, path brake, 240 V / 60 Hz. High-speed gearbox decks are a separate quotation.
Steel-structure fabricators and deck processors who roll composite or form-deck profiles from coil for multi-storey and industrial floors.
dual-layer lines use a path brake so only one layer runs at a time.
H38 and similar peaks follow the drawings, including two lap options when specified.
a high-speed gearbox deck line is a different machine class from dual-layer 23+31.
One delivered example. Final numbers follow your quotation.
| Example line | Dual-layer floor-deck host from a delivered specification |
|---|---|
| Material | Upper 0.8 mm / lower 0.8-1.6 mm; H38 needs two lap variants per drawings |
| Former | 23+31 stands / upper Dia. 80 / lower Dia. 95 / 400 frame + 20 mm wall / first stand external gear + path brake |
| Options | 1 emboss stand + 1 emboss-break stand - each optional on/off |
| Drive / cut | Dual chain / path brake / hydraulic cut / 22 kW + 22 kW / 5.5 kW large-valve air-cool |
| Power / HMI | 240 V / 60 Hz / 3-phase / Delta PLC/VFD/HMI / inch/mm / EN/ZH |
| Auxiliaries on the same order | 10 t hydraulic decoiler (ID 510-610 / W<=1250 / 5.5 kW) + 12 m dual movable stacker |
| High-speed alternative | Gearbox deck class (example HB55: 36 stands / Dia. 95 / dual 22 kW) - quoted separately |
Hydraulic decoiler sized to coil width; example uses 10 t class with press arm and remote.
Path brake so the upper layer works while the lower idles, or the reverse.
Emboss / emboss-break stands switchable when drawings require.
Stop shear on the dual-layer example. High-speed lines may add a pre/post cut pair.
Example ships a 12 m dual movable stacker.
| Step | Module | Guidance | Related |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primary | Dual-layer floor deck line | 23+31 / Dia. 80/95 / path brake | Dual-layer floor deck forming |
| Alternative | High-speed floor deck line | Gearbox class, separate quotation | High-speed floor deck forming |
| Related product | Closed deck | Ask for the closed-deck package | Closed deck |
| Infeed | Hydraulic decoiler | Example: 10 t / ID 510-610 / W<=1250 | Hydraulic decoiler |
| Out | Dual movable stacker | Example: 12 m dual-layer stacker | Outfeed / stacker |
Dual-layer vs high-speed floor-deck choice, one dual-layer specification, equipment matching, and a quote checklist.
On a dual-layer host the path brake keeps the idle layer off. Confirm that in FAT if you buy this class.
Stand count and drive (chain vs gearbox) follow the machine class you choose.
Trapezoid roof stills belong with the roof-and-wall solution, not a deck RFQ.
If you need two profiles on one host with path select, start dual-layer. If continuous high-speed throughput is the goal, quote the gearbox class as a separate line.
Some H38 decks need two lap variants. Treat that as drawing data, not a single marketing lap.
Closed deck is a related product. Ask for that package if that is what you sell.
Send the quote checklist. Commercial terms come back on the offer.
