The ZTRFM PV4 Trapezoidal Roof Sheet Roll Forming Machine is a fully automatic production line developed for manufacturing PV4 metal roofing and wall cladding panels. It is suitable for factories producing roofing sheets for industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops, commercial buildings, agricultural structures and residential projects. The line can process PPGI, PPGL, galvanized steel and other coated metal coils, and it can be customized according to the customer’s profile drawing, material thickness, coil width, production speed and local electrical standard.

The complete production process includes uncoiling, feeding, guiding, roll forming, length measuring, hydraulic cutting and finished panel receiving. After the operator enters the required sheet length and quantity through the PLC control system, the machine can complete continuous forming and cutting automatically. This reduces manual operation and helps maintain consistent production quality.
The PV4 profile is gradually formed through multiple precision forming rollers. Each forming station is designed according to the final panel geometry so the steel sheet can be shaped progressively without excessive deformation. A carefully arranged forming sequence helps improve rib consistency, panel straightness and overall appearance. The rollers are precision machined and can be hard-chrome plated to improve wear resistance and help protect coated materials.

This PV4 line uses a bearing-supported roller structure. Bearings inside the forming system help reduce differences in linear speed between rollers and improve running stability during production. This can reduce unnecessary friction and improve the surface quality of the finished roofing sheet.
The main machine frame is designed for stable long-term operation. A welded steel base and supporting structure provide sufficient rigidity during forming. Good machine rigidity helps reduce vibration and movement of the forming stations, helping maintain profile dimensions and sheet straightness.
Before entering the forming section, the steel coil passes through an adjustable feeding and guiding device. The guide system keeps the sheet centered and aligned with the forming rollers. Correct alignment helps reduce side movement, improve panel symmetry and maintain accurate effective width.

An encoder measures the sheet length during production, while the PLC compares the actual length with the preset value. When the required length is reached, the hydraulic cutting system cuts the finished panel automatically. The cutting blade is designed according to the final PV4 profile to provide a clean and stable cut.
The machine uses a PLC control system with a touch-screen operating interface. Operators can set production length, quantity and basic operating parameters directly from the control panel. Control language, electrical components and PLC brand can be customized according to customer requirements.
The PV4 line can be designed for pre-painted galvanized steel, pre-painted Galvalume steel, galvanized steel and other suitable metal coils. Material thickness is determined according to the customer’s final product and local roofing market. Steel grade, thickness, yield strength, coating type and coil width should be confirmed before production so the machine can be configured correctly.
PV4 trapezoidal roofing sheets are widely used for roof and wall cladding. Their ribbed profile provides good structural stiffness while keeping the panel relatively lightweight. Finished sheets can be used for warehouses, factories, workshops, steel structure buildings, farm buildings, commercial facilities, prefabricated buildings and residential roofing. Different colors and sheet lengths can be produced according to project requirements.
ZTRFM provides OEM and ODM roll forming solutions. The PV4 machine can be redesigned according to a customer’s own profile drawing instead of using only one fixed standard. Customers can send a dimensional drawing or physical sample for technical evaluation. Our engineers can then confirm the forming steps, roller layout, feeding width, cutting profile and machine configuration.

Depending on the project, the line can be equipped with a manual decoiler, hydraulic decoiler, coil loading trolley, pre-cutting device, servo tracking cutting system, automatic stacking table or other auxiliary equipment. Production speed can also be upgraded by changing the transmission and cutting configuration.
Before shipment, the machine can be assembled and tested in our factory. Inspection includes the machine frame, roller alignment, transmission, electrical system, hydraulic system, PLC operation, forming result and cutting accuracy. Test material can be fed through the complete line to verify the finished profile, and customer-provided raw material can also be used when required.
The production line is designed to simplify daily operation and maintenance. Operators mainly need to load the coil, adjust the material guide, set production parameters and monitor the line. Regular maintenance focuses on lubrication, transmission inspection, hydraulic oil condition, electrical connections and roller cleanliness.
ZTRFM provides technical support for machine installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance. Customers can receive operating instructions, electrical diagrams and remote technical guidance. Engineer service can also be arranged according to the contract and project requirements. Spare parts and technical consultation are available for long-term machine use.

The PV4 trapezoidal roofing sheet machine combines automatic production, customized profile design and a stable forming structure in one production line.
