How the C Purlin Roll Forming Machine Works
The process starts with a steel coil on the decoiler. The strip passes through the entry guide and leveling unit to remove camber and twist. Then it enters the roll forming stations, where each progressively shaped roller bend the flat strip into the final C section with web, flanges and returned lip.
If the order requires bolt holes, web holes, notch cuts or connection slots, the optional hydraulic or servo punching unit processes them in line before or after forming. The cutting unit then shears the profile to set length. Finished C purlins move to the run-out table or automatic stacker.
