Split Set Bolt Forming Machine 5 Lines One System
A common question from customers looking at a Split Set bolt forming machine is whether five independent lines are hard to coordinate and operate. It is a fair concern. Five lines working separately could create problems if their standards do not match. But when the key hardware parameters are fully aligned across all five lines, they form one coordinated production system.
Let us start with the applications, then look at how this system achieves clear division of work while staying unified and easy to run.
Applications – Where Split Set Rock Bolts from This Split Set Bolt Forming Machine Are Used
The Split Set bolt forming machine produces rock bolts that are essential components in underground support work. Finished rock bolts from this equipment are used in these scenarios:
-
Mine roadway roof and side support
-
Highway and railway tunnel support
-
Slope stabilization and geological hazard control
These applications require reliable supply and consistent product quality. Meeting these requirements calls for a complete rock bolt production system with five independent lines working together.
Now let us look at what each of the five lines does.

Five Lines for Five Components and Technical Parameters
The Split Set bolt forming machine consists of five independent production lines. The first four lines each produce one component, and the fifth line handles welding. Below are the key parameters for each line, with a brief description of what each line produces.
Split Set Roll Forming Machine
| Item | Parameter |

| Decoiler | 3 ton manual decoiler |
| Feeding rollers | 2 rollers |
| Guiding rollers | 2 rollers |
| Forming rollers | 7 rollers |
| Transmission | Gearbox |
| Voltage | 380V 50Hz 3 phase (customizable) |
| Frame structure | Arch frame with middle plate welded base |
| Forming speed | 0 to 15 m/min |
| Material thickness range | 2.5 to 3.5 mm |
| Pipe outer diameter | 35 mm / 46 mm |
| Shaft diameter | 70 mm |
| Roller material | Cr12 with quenching treatment |
| Hydraulic station power | 7.5 kW |
| Main machine size | approx. 5800×1400×1500 mm |
| PLC control | Delta |
| Shearing type | Hydraulic stop shearing with notch cutting at the same time |
| Receiving table | 2.5 m per piece |
This line produces the pipe body – the main structure of the rock bolt.

Split Set Dome Plate Press Machine
| Item | Parameter |
|---|---|
| Hydraulic station power | 15 kW |
| Voltage | 380V 60Hz 3 phase (customizable) |
| Processing speed | 0 to 10 pieces/min |
| Mold material | Cr12MoV |
| Maximum material thickness | 5.0 mm |
This line produces the dome plate – the plate fixed at the tail of the rock bolt.

Split Set Necking Machine
| Item | Parameter |
|---|---|
| Hydraulic motor power | 3 kW |
| Voltage | 380V 50Hz 3 phase (customizable) |
| Mold material | GCr12 |
This line produces the necked pipe end – the reduced diameter section that allows the dome plate to fit properly.

Split Set Ring Making Machine
| Item | Parameter |
|---|---|
| Drive motor power | 2.2 kW |
| Voltage | 380V 50Hz 3 phase (customizable) |
| Mold material | GCr12 |
| Wire diameter | 6 to 8 mm |
| Speed | 40 to 45 pieces/min |
This line produces the ring – a fixing ring welded to the pipe body.

Split Set Ring Welding Machine
| Item | Parameter |
|---|---|
| Welding type | TIG |
| Welding power | Model 350 |
| Voltage | 380V 60Hz 3 phase (customizable) |
| Pipe diameter range | 28 to 50 mm |
| Rock bolt length | 1.2 to 2.8 m |
| Welding speed | 4 pieces/min |
This line produces the finished rock bolt – the final product after all components are welded together.

Unified Hardware Standards Across All Lines
The five lines run independently, but they share the same key hardware standards.
Unified voltage: 380V. All five lines use the same voltage level. You do not need different power setups for different machines. Frequency varies between 50Hz and 60Hz depending on the line, but we can customize it to match your local grid.
Key mold materials. Each line uses high wear resistant die steel suited to its specific process. Roll forming rollers use Cr12 with quenching treatment. The dome plate press uses Cr12MoV molds. Necking and ring making use GCr12 molds. These materials are commonly used in cold work die steel applications.
Common spare parts, lower inventory pressure. Same voltage means electrical spares can work across multiple lines. Maintenance staff only need to know one electrical standard, and you do not need to keep different spare parts for each line.
Clear Division of Work
Because each line handles one specific component, the workflow is straightforward. Operators can focus on a single task per line. With a Split Set bolt forming machine, the overall production flow follows a logical sequence from raw steel strip to finished rock bolt. This clarity helps reduce confusion during daily operation.

Clear Standards, Clear Production
The Split Set bolt forming machine is not a single machine that does everything. It is five independent lines, each with its own job, working together under unified hardware standards. This design keeps production clear, maintenance straightforward, and the overall system easy to manage.
