Smart Double Decoiler Feeder Machine with Shared Loading Cart and 360 Degree Rotation Saves Space and Cost
Do you have to equip each decoiler in your workshop with its own loading cart? Two carts take up twice the floor space and double your purchasing cost. When a forklift or crane delivers coils, if the cart cannot rotate to the right angle, operators have to adjust the lifting direction again and again. Most loading time is wasted on alignment.
Our decoiler feeder machine uses one loading cart to serve both decoilers alternately. The cart rotates 360 degrees electrically. Whether a forklift approaches from the side or a crane lifts from above, the cart turns to the right position for loading. The two decoilers each have independent controls and can operate at the same time. One cart saves you the cost of a second cart and the space it would occupy.

How One Loading Cart Serves Two Decoilers
The key to one cart serving two decoilers lies in sharing and alternating.
The cart moves along a track between the two decoilers. The track length depends on the distance between them. This decoiler feeder machine places the two decoilers just 2 meters apart, so the cart moves from one to the other in a short time. When decoiler No.1 needs a fresh coil, the cart moves to that position and loads the coil. After loading, it moves back to the middle of the track or goes directly to decoiler No.2 to stand by. The two decoilers each have independent control systems. Each can perform uncoiling, expansion, and payoff on its own. The two decoilers can operate at the same time without interfering with each other.

The cart responds to only one decoiler at a time with built in interlock logic. When one decoiler is calling the cart, the other decoiler's command is temporarily blocked. This design prevents conflicts from both decoilers sending commands at the same time, protecting both equipment and operators.
Advantages
Save floor space
Two decoilers share one loading cart. The track is shorter and the cart needs only one parking area. The two decoilers are just 2 meters apart, saving a large amount of floor space compared to layouts with separate carts.
Reduce equipment cost
One loading device meets the feeding needs of two production lines. You purchase only one cart instead of two, which directly reduces your equipment investment.
One person can operate
A wireless remote control handles the cart's rotation, lifting, and movement. The operator stands next to the coil and completes all actions without needing a second person.

Applications
This decoiler feeder machine suits the following production scenarios:
-
Cable tray production lines: two independent tray forming lines share one cart for coil feeding
-
Decorative strip production lines: different specifications or colors run in parallel using one loading device
-
Steel purlin production lines: two C purlin or Z purlin forming lines each get their own coil supply
-
Solar mounting section production lines: column and crossbeam lines operate simultaneously
-
Storage rack production lines: column and shelf panel lines run in parallel
The right conditions for this setup are two independent production lines, limited floor space, and the need for flexible loading. Cable tray and decorative strip lines often use this configuration because they typically run multiple specifications at the same time. Two parallel lines sharing one cart helps reduce equipment investment and floor space.

360 Degree Rotation and Small Gear Precision Positioning
360 degree rotation solves the loading direction problem
A traditional fixed direction loading cart can only accept coils from one direction. The forklift must go around to a specific spot every time. The crane also has to align to the same angle. Workshop layout becomes restricted, and equipment placement must accommodate the loading direction.
The cart on this decoiler feeder machine supports 360 degree electric rotation. The forklift can approach from the side, and the crane can lift from above. The cart rotates to the right position for loading. The coil's delivery direction is no longer a restriction. You can arrange forklift routes and crane lifting points based on actual workshop conditions.

Small gear drive enables precise positioning
The small gear drive supports fine angle adjustments during rotation. Each jog turns the cart by a small angle. The operator controls rotation direction and angle through the remote control and can stop at the desired position.
For heavy steel coils, stable power transmission is especially important. The small gear structure keeps rotation smooth and controlled. The operator doesn't need to jog repeatedly to find the right spot.

Installation and Maintenance
For installation, the cart track needs proper leveling and straightness to ensure smooth movement between the two decoilers. End stops at the track ends are recommended to prevent derailment. The control system wiring follows the electrical drawings. Our engineers can provide remote guidance.
Regular track cleaning and gear lubrication help maintain smooth operation. Periodic brake response checks are also recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it troublesome to switch the cart between two decoilers?
Not at all. The cart moves along the track and the interlock logic ensures it responds to only one decoiler at a time, so there are no command conflicts.
Q: Is a heavy coil stable on the cart during rotation?
Yes. The cart platform is 1250mm wide, matching the coil width. The coil sits securely on the platform during rotation.
Q: Does the equipment support export?
The standard voltage is 380V 50Hz three phase. The control panel supports switching between Chinese and English. Other configurations can be discussed based on your requirements.
