    Curving / Crimping (Arch)

Standalone hydraulic curving machine that bends formed roof and wall panels to a fixed arc: 3 forming stations with Cr12 dies, 0.3-0.8 mm high-tensile strip up to 550 MPa, 3 kW main drive and a 4 kW…

    What this process looks like

The curving unit takes an already-formed panel and puts a controlled radius into it, so a straight roof or wall sheet becomes an arched one. It works as a standalone station placed after the forming line.

    Operation steps

    Fit the arch die

    Fit the arch die

Install the Cr12 die cut for the radius you need and keep the radius board at the machine as the operator reference.

    Curve in three passes

    Curve in three passes

The panel runs through three stations on Ø70 shafts. The 3 kW drive and 6-pitch dual chain keep the passes in step so the arc builds evenly.

    Check springback on the first-off

    Check springback on the first-off

High-tensile strip near 550 MPa opens up after the last pass. Measure the released arc against the radius board and adjust before running the batch.

    Inspect and pack

    Inspect and pack

Check the coating for scuffing along the die contact line, then nest the curved panels so the arcs sit together for strapping and transport.
