Cut class
Servo tracking flying shear— match-speed cutoff.

Length accuracy is a motion story: encoder reads strip travel → servo matches speed → clamp and cut → carriage returns home before the next window.

The specification calls for an Omron encoder. Clean wheel contact and correct pulse-to-millimetre scaling keep length scatter under control.

The carriage accelerates until its velocity matches the strip. Film at contract speed so the return window is real.
Rear hydraulic cut with Cr12mov blade. Late clamp lets the strip slip; early clamp bruises the surface. Front/back bellows stay closed around the cut head.

At 25–30 m/min the return window shrinks. Hose drag chains must move freely; sticky plumbing fails before PLC gains can compensate.

Close commissioning with recipe length plus a scrap tag. Label which punch/cut servos are actually installed on this line.
The wide line shot gives context for where the shear sits. Keep the page title and SKU on the flying shear station, instead of retitling it as the host profile.
Servo tracking flying shear: match-speed cutoff with 3.8 kW servo, 5.5 kW air-cooled hydraulics, rear cut, Cr12mov blade, Omron encoder, around 25–30 m/min.

Match-speed flying shear cuts while the strip moves. Stop-cut shears halt the strip for each cut; the two stations belong in different process pages.
This build uses a 3.8 kW servo.
