CS-118 Roller Shutter Slat Production Line

A roller shutter slat line is one part of a shutter project. This solution covers the CS-118 line: 118.5 mm slat, 1.6 mm strip, about sixteen roll positions, 0–20 m/min, 11 kW forming and 3 kW hydraulic. It also shows where the guide and box line, the door frame line and the garage foaming line fit, so a complete project is quoted as separate machines rather than one averaged shutter machine.

    Who it's for

For shutter manufacturers and metal door plants that sell interlocking roller shutter curtains and need to match a slat drawing to a forming line. The page is written for the person who has to separate the slat line from the guide/box, track and frame machines in the same project.

    Shutter manufacturers

    Shutter manufacturers

You assemble curtains and need a line that holds the CS-118 slat geometry at 1.6 mm.

    Metal door plants

    Metal door plants

You already make frames or guides and want to add slat capacity without mixing the slat ratings with the other lines.

    Project buyers

    Project buyers

You are buying a complete shutter plant and need to see why the slat, guide, track, frame and garage panel are separate quotations.

    How to choose a line

    1. If you need the CS-118 interlocking slat at 1.6 mm -> Choose this D-SL CS-118 line (About 16 rolls, φ70, 11+3 kW, 0–20 m/min.)
    2. If you need a single-layer, European thin or PU double-layer slat -> Ask for that thickness tier (Same slat family, different speed and power package; those numbers do not apply here. )
    3. If you also need side guides, slides, a shutter box or a bottom rail -> Choose a guide/box roll forming line (Separate section machine; U guide, slide, box and heavy rail have their own power tiers.)
    4. If you need steel door frames or door-leaf edge profiles -> Choose a door frame line (Hinge and lock punching before forming; a different host and a different quotation. )
    5. If you need wide foamed garage door panels -> Choose a garage door continuous foaming line (Wide sandwich panel with a double-belt section; not a slat line.)

    Example specification

Profile CS-118 interlocking slat, 118.5 mm developed width / 28.9 mm height on drawing 06; signed drawing governs.
Thickness 1.6 mm for the CS-118 quotation.
Forming About sixteen roll positions on φ70 mm shafts, gear drive, 11 kW main motor; stand count confirmed on the order board.
Speed 0–20 m/min on this quotation.
CutHydraulic cut-to-length with a 3 kW station; synchronized punching optional.

    What's included

This page covers the CS-118 slat line: the 118.5 × 28.9 slat, the 1.6 mm strip window, the forming and cut process, the decoiler scope and the quote checklist for a slat-only purchase. Other thickness tiers and the guide/box, track, door frame and garage foaming families are covered on their own pages.

What to send for a quote

    1. 1.Slat drawing: developed width, height, hook shape.
    2. 2.Thickness and material: 1.6 mm galvanized or stainless 304.
    3. 3.Slat type: CS-118 or another tier.
    4. 4.Whether a second slat profile is needed, and its drawing.
    5. 5.Synchronized punching: yes/no and hole pattern.
    6. 6.Coil weight and inner diameter for the decoiler.

    FAQ

Does this solution include guide rails?

No. Guide rails, slides, boxes, bottom rails and garage door tracks are separate machines; they are quoted from their own drawings.

Can the same line run CS-118 and a second profile?

Yes, when a second full roll set is ordered. The change is a roll-set change, not a recipe.

Is the 0–20 m/min speed valid for PU slats?

No. A PU double-layer line adds foaming, heating, reshaping and a tracking cut-off, and runs at its own lower speed. The CS-118 speed belongs to this quotation only.
