    CS-118 Roller Shutter Slat Forming

This process covers the slat line, not the whole shutter. A coil is opened, leveled and fed into a gear-driven forming section of about sixteen roll positions, which bends the CS-118 hooked edges and the slat face; the slat is then cut to length. Guide rails, boxes, track and frames are different machines, and PU foaming is a different configuration.

    Operation steps

    Decoiling

    Decoiling

The coil is mounted on the decoiler at the entry; the decoiler is included and its capacity is matched to the coil weight.

    Feed and leveling

    Feed and leveling

The strip is straightened and centred so the slat width and hook position stay stable through the forming section.

    Gear-driven forming

    Gear-driven forming

About sixteen roll positions bend the two hooked edges and the slat face in stages; the gear drive keeps the roll positions synchronised.

    Optional synchronized punching

    Optional synchronized punching

If the order includes punching, the punch station runs with the line to the slat hole pattern; without it, the slat is formed solid.

    Hydraulic cut-to-length

    Hydraulic cut-to-length

The hydraulic shear cuts the slat at the set length with a 3 kW station, and the slat leaves on the exit table.

    What's included

    This line

    Decoiler (capacity to be confirmed).

    Standard build

    Feed and leveling section.

    Also included

Gear-driven forming section, about sixteen roll positions on φ70 mm shafts.

    Scope

11 kW main motor and 3 kW hydraulic station.

    Key details

    Note 1

A second slat profile needs a full roll-set change; it is not a recipe change on the HMI.

    Note 2

Synchronized punching is optional. Without it, the slat is formed solid and holes are a separate operation.

    Power & voltage

The 0–20 m/min figure belongs to the CS-118 quotation. Single-layer, European thin and PU double-layer tiers run at their own speeds with their own power packages.

    Note 4

The line runs one slat profile at a time; it does not produce two profiles simultaneously.

    FAQ

What is the difference between CS-118 and the AU-style line?
CS-118 is a φ70, 11+3 kW, 0–20 m/min package for 1.6 mm strip, with about sixteen roll positions. The AU-style line is a 29-stand, Ø90, 7.5 kW package for 0.4–0.6 mm strip with four decoilers and a 7 m seamer. They are different quotations.
    Is the decoiler included?
Yes, the standard build includes a decoiler; its capacity is confirmed against your coil weight and inner diameter.
Can the line punch the slat?
Only if synchronized punching is ordered. The punch pattern follows your slat drawing.
Can one line run a second slat profile?
Yes, with a second full roll set. The change is a roll-set change, not a control recipe.
