A CS-118 roller shutter door slat roll forming machine is a cold roll forming line that turns 1.6 mm galvanized or stainless strip into interlocking curtain slats. The hooked edges engage with the next slat, and the assembled curtain rolls up on a drum.
The line is a single-machine build: decoiler, feed and leveling, about sixteen forming roll positions on φ70 mm shafts, an 11 kW main motor, a 3 kW hydraulic cut-to-length shear and a PLC cabinet.
| Not this machine | Why |
|---|---|
| Not a guide or box machine. | Side guides, slides, shutter boxes, bottom rails and garage door tracks are a separate section family with their own power tiers. |
| Not a door frame line. | Door frames and door-leaf edges are formed on a different host, with hinge and lock punching ahead of forming. |
| Not a garage door continuous foaming panel line. | That class makes wide foamed sandwich panels with a double-belt curing section. |
| Not the AU-style slat line. | The AU-style package is a 29-stand, Ø90, 7.5 kW build for 0.4–0.6 mm strip, with four decoilers and a 7 m seamer. |
| Not the single-layer, European thin or PU double-layer tier. | Those are different quotations with different thickness, speed and power packages. |
The coil is loaded on the decoiler and fed through a leveler that straightens the strip and holds the slat width. About sixteen forming roll positions, driven by a gear drive, bend the hooked edges and the slat face in stages. If synchronized punching is ordered, the punch station runs with the line to the slat hole pattern. A hydraulic shear then cuts the slat to length, and the slat leaves on the exit table.
Forming happens in the shop. Assembly happens later: slats are joined into a curtain, seated in side guides and wound on an octagon drum. The guide rails and box are separate machines, not stations on this line.

5.FAQ
What is a CS-118 slat?
It is an interlocking roller shutter curtain slat with a 118.5 mm developed width and a 28.9 mm height. The signed drawing governs the hook shape before production.
What thickness does the line run?
1.6 mm on this CS-118 quotation. Single-layer, European thin and PU double-layer are different tiers with their own thickness, speed and power package.
Is the decoiler included?
Yes, the standard build includes a decoiler. Its capacity is confirmed against the coil weight and inner diameter; the product card does not fix a tonnage.
Can it make guide rails or garage door tracks too?
No. Guide rails, slides, boxes, bottom rails and garage door tracks are a separate section family. A complete shutter project buys them as separate machines.
Can one machine run two slat profiles?
Yes, when a second full roll set is ordered. It is a roll-set change, not a control recipe. The second profile is quoted from its own drawing.
