Rectangular Downpipe Roll Forming Machine 8–10 m/min

A closed rectangular downpipe for rainwater systems, formed from galvanized or prepainted steel coil. The strip is folded into a box section through the stands, the two edges meet on one face and are closed into a single lock seam, and the pipe is cut to length with a cold saw so the cut end stays square for elbows and reducers.

FAQ

Is the seam welded?

No. The two edges are folded into a single lock seam. That is why thin coated coil can be used without burning the coating at the joint.

Why a cold saw instead of a shear?

A saw leaves a square, low-burr end that slides into an elbow or a reducer without rework. A shear is faster but can distort the box section at the cut, and distorted ends usually need trimming.

What do you need from me to quote the rolls?

A section drawing with the width, the height, the corner radius, the wall thickness and the seam position, plus the material and coating. Without those dimensions the rolls cannot be cut.
