The Heavy Duty Coil Embossing Machine by Zhongtuo is a complete solution for producing embossed metal sheets from wide steel coils. Designed for demanding industrial applications, the line combines coil decoiling, continuous embossing, leveling, length measurement, cutting, conveying, and automatic stacking in one production system.
The equipment can process carbon steel, hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, and hot-dip galvanized steel with thicknesses from 0.8 to 3.0 mm and sheet widths of up to 1600 mm. With a production speed of approximately 3–6 m/min, it provides a practical solution for manufacturers that need consistent embossed surfaces together with accurate cut-to-length production.
Unlike a single embossing unit, this integrated line minimizes intermediate handling. The finished sheets can move directly from the steel coil to the automatic stacking section.

The Coil Embossing Machine uses a continuous production layout to process steel coils into finished embossed sheets.
The standard workflow is:
Hydraulic Decoiler → Embossing Unit → Leveling Machine → Side Guide → Servo Length Control → Cut-to-Length Shear → Conveyor → Automatic Stacker
The coil first enters the hydraulic decoiling system. After straightening and feeding, the steel strip passes through the embossing rollers, where the required surface pattern is formed.
The embossed material then enters the leveling section. This process helps correct deformation generated during embossing and improves the flatness of the finished sheet.
After leveling, the side guide keeps the material properly aligned. A servo-controlled measuring system then determines the required sheet length before the mechanical shear cuts the continuous strip into individual panels.
Finally, the conveyor transfers the finished sheets to the automatic stacking system. The stacker organizes the products into neat piles, making subsequent storage, transportation, and handling easier.
This configuration allows manufacturers to complete several production stages in one continuous line while reducing manual material movement.

One of the key components of this 3mm Embossing Machine is its heavy-duty embossing roller assembly.
The standard embossing rollers measure Ø500 × 1600 mm and are manufactured from integrally forged 42CrMo alloy steel. After intermediate-frequency quenching, the rollers reach approximately HRC58–60 hardness.
This construction provides improved wear resistance when processing thicker steel materials over long production cycles.
The roller gap can be adjusted according to material thickness and required embossing depth. The standard willow leaf pattern can produce an embossing depth of approximately 1–2 mm.
For projects requiring a special surface design, Zhongtuo can manufacture the embossing rollers according to customer drawings. The detachable roller design also makes it possible to replace the embossing rollers when a different pattern is required.

A 15 kW frequency-controlled drive supplies the forming power. Operators can adjust the working speed within the normal range of 3–6 m/min according to the steel grade, thickness, pattern, and production requirements.
The front section of the production line uses a hydraulic loading system to simplify the handling of heavy steel coils.
A V-shaped coil loading trolley supports the coil during positioning. Hydraulic cylinders lift the coil to the required height, while the hydraulic traveling mechanism moves the trolley along its approximately 2.5 m rail.
The cantilever hydraulic uncoiler uses an expanding mandrel and hydraulic expansion mechanism. Its standard configuration supports:
A swing-arm pressure roller and hydraulic support mechanism help stabilize the strip during decoiling and feeding.
This heavy-duty configuration allows the line to handle relatively thick and wide steel coils while maintaining controlled material feeding into the embossing section.

After embossing, the material enters the leveling machine.
The leveling unit is equipped with 9 leveling rollers, each measuring approximately Ø120 × 1600 mm. The rollers use forged 45# steel and chrome-plated surfaces for improved durability.
The leveling process helps compensate for deformation generated during embossing and provides a flatter sheet surface before the cut-to-length operation.
A vertical side-guide system follows the leveling section. The guide rollers keep the strip centered during processing and help reduce lateral movement.
The guide width can be adjusted from approximately 100 to 1600 mm using a screw-and-handwheel mechanism, allowing the system to accommodate different material widths.
Accurate length positioning is important when converting an embossed coil into individual sheets.
The line uses an AC servo-driven measuring roller to control the sheet length. Its rubber-covered surface increases friction between the measuring roller and steel sheet, helping reduce slippage during positioning.
Once the preset length is reached, the cut-to-length system separates the sheet.
The gate-type mechanical shear uses a 7.5 kW drive motor and adjustable blade clearance. Its down-cutting configuration helps control the position of the cutting burr and reduces the risk of finished sheets scratching one another during stacking.
This combination of servo positioning and mechanical shearing provides a practical solution for continuous embossed sheet production.

After cutting, the finished sheets move onto a 4000 × 1600 mm conveyor.
The conveyor transports the products from the cutting section to the automatic stacker without requiring operators to manually carry each sheet.
The stacking system includes:
The stacker can accommodate finished sheet lengths from 1 to 4 m and supports a maximum stacking load of approximately 5 tons.
When operating without embossing, the stacking section can reach approximately 15–20 m/min, providing additional flexibility for different production conditions.
The automatic stacking process produces organized piles of finished sheets, which can then be moved by forklift or other material-handling equipment.

Electrical specifications can be customized according to the customer's local power supply and installation requirements.
The Metal Sheet Embossing Machine is suitable for manufacturers that need textured or patterned steel sheets for different industrial and construction applications.
Typical products include:
The embossing pattern, sheet thickness, width, and production configuration can be adjusted according to the customer's final product requirements.
For special applications, Zhongtuo can also design customized embossing rollers based on customer drawings or sample patterns.
A complete embossing line offers several advantages over a standalone embossing machine.
First, the production process is integrated from coil loading to finished sheet stacking. This reduces manual handling between individual machines.
Second, the heavy-duty 42CrMo embossing rollers provide the strength and wear resistance required for processing steel sheets up to 3 mm thick.
Third, the combination of embossing, leveling, servo length measurement, cutting, and automatic stacking helps maintain a consistent production workflow.
Finally, the machine can be configured according to the customer's material, sheet dimensions, embossing pattern, electrical standard, and production capacity.
For manufacturers processing wide and relatively thick steel coils, this Heavy Duty Coil Embossing Machine provides a complete approach to continuous embossing and cut-to-length production.
