A compact roll forming machine for soffit panels and wall cladding panels, built so the panels can be formed on site by one operator in one pass.

This machine forms two product families from color galvanized steel coil: soffit panels and wall cladding panels. It is aimed at roofing and siding contractors who need soffit and cladding panels made to the building instead of transported to the site. The machine is compact enough to be brought to the job, and the panels are formed on site with one operator and one pass, which cuts transport and double handling.
The forming head traverses along the panel automatically once the coil is fed, so the profile is not pulled or dragged across the yard. Running at a steady speed keeps every soffit panel and cladding panel square and identical. The roller gap is adjustable, which lets one machine cover different coil thicknesses and profile depths, and the changeover between soffit and cladding takes minutes rather than a second set of rolls.
The punching and cutting head sits at the discharge end of the bed. It is built on four chrome guide pillars with a stainless die block assembly between them, and the red hydraulic cylinder on top drives the die. The head assembly is what forms the holes and cuts the panel to length as the head traverses.
Looking down into the die, the profiled panel passes between the stainless die plates. The perforated panel in the photo is the punched soffit section with its rows of slots, taken straight off the die.
The roller stations carry the embossing and forming rollers on chrome shafts with black spacer rings. The embossing roller is the drum with the raised pattern, and the connecting rod on the station adjusts the roller distance for the setting required.
At the last stations the formed panel leaves the rollers with its folded edge returns and its flat field or perforated section already complete.

Automatic Traverse
Once the coil is fed, the forming head travels along the panel by itself. There is no manual pulling and no dragging of profiles across the yard, and the steady traverse speed keeps every panel square and identical to the last one.
Hole Punching With An Embossing Roller
The roller station carries an embossing roller that punches the holes in the panel. It can be used or left out depending on the job, and a connecting rod adjusts the roller distance for the setting required.
Adjustable Roller Gap And Quick Changeover
The adjustable roller gap lets one machine cover different coil thicknesses and profile depths. Changing between soffit panels and wall cladding panels takes minutes instead of swapping to a second set of rolls.
Automatic Panel Size Adjustment
The machine can produce more than one panel dimension by automatic movement and adjustment, so the same line covers the two panel widths shown on the section drawing further down this page.

High Production Efficiency
Continuous forming, a fast traverse and a quick changeover keep output up at 15 m/min. Forming, cutting and stacking run in one flow, and producing on site removes the transport and the second handling of finished panels.
Low Wear Rate
The rollers run on hardened shafts with sealed bearings, so friction stays low. That means fewer replacement parts, less downtime and a stable tolerance over years of use, which is the basis of the long service life of the line.
PLC Control And Manual Decoiler
An imported brand PLC runs the line from the control cabinet, which carries the touch screen and the pushbutton panel. The coil is carried on a 5 tons manual decoiler at the entry end, and the drive is 13 kW (17.43 hp).
Cr12 Forming Rollers
The forming rollers are made in Cr12 and the panel is cut to length on the line, so the formed soffit and cladding profiles keep their section and length repeatably across a production run.

The section drawing shows the two panel widths covered by the machine: a 600 mm panel and a 400 mm panel. Each of the two widths is shown in a plain panel and in a perforated panel version, so the same line covers both the solid and the punched sections used for soffit and wall cladding work.
The punched version is produced by the embossing roller in the roller station. The hole pattern shown on the perforated panels is formed in the same pass as the profile, so no separate punching operation is needed.

The machine produces soffit panels and wall cladding panels for building envelopes:

What does this machine produce?
Soffit panels and wall cladding panels formed from color galvanized steel coil, in plain and perforated versions, in the two panel widths shown on the section drawing.
How does the automatic traverse work?
Once the coil is fed, the forming head travels along the panel by itself. Nothing is pulled by hand, and the steady speed keeps every panel square and identical.
Can one machine make both soffit and cladding panels?
Yes. The adjustable roller gap covers different coil thicknesses and profile depths, and the changeover between soffit and wall cladding panels takes minutes rather than a second set of rolls.
How are the holes punched in the perforated panels?
The roller station carries an embossing roller that punches the holes. It can be used or left out depending on the job, and the connecting rod adjusts the roller distance.
What are the material, speed and power figures?
Color galvanized steel coil from 0.3 mm to 0.7 mm thick, a feeding width of 600 mm, a production capacity of 15 m/min (49.21 ft/min) and a 13 kW (17.43 hp) drive on 380 V, 440 V or 220 V as required. Machine weight is 4000 kg.
What warranty and inspection are provided?
A 1 year warranty, with ISO and CE certification stated for the machine, and video outgoing-inspection plus a machinery test report before shipment.
