What this machine makes

ZT-GLAZE-950 is a glazed step tile roll forming line. It turns pre-painted or galvanized steel coil into roof tiles that copy the rhythm of a traditional clay tile roof, while staying a cold-formed metal product that fixes down like any other steel roof sheet.

About 1200 mm of coil goes in and about 950 mm of cover comes out. The difference is consumed by the ribs, the side laps and the tile geometry, which is why the two numbers are always quoted together. Strip thickness is 0.3–0.8 mm, with a pitch of about 190 mm and a crown of about 27 mm. The step along the length is adjustable over about 150–380 mm, so the same line can press a close or a stretched tile rhythm within that band.

The host carries about 13 forming stands on a Φ80 mm shaft with chain drive, and runs at a forming speed of 8–12 m/min. Main motor is 5.5 kW with a 5.5 kW hydraulic station.

• ● Not any other cover code. An 828 or 840 machine is a different line with its own rolls, its own stand count and its own power package. Rolls from one cover code do not make another code's panel by changing a recipe.
• ● Not a 950 Arc machine. The arc version runs its own pitch, crown and stand count on dedicated rolls. Arc tooling is a separate build, not a setting on this line.
• ● Not a ridge cap machine. Ridge caps and hips come off a separate accessory line and are ordered separately, even when they are bought for the same roof.
• ● Not a double-layer or triple-layer tile machine. Those are different families with their own frames.
• ● Not a corrugated sheet line. A plain corrugated line has no step press at all, so it cannot make this tile rhythm.
• ● Not a trapezoidal roof or wall panel line, and not a standing-seam line. Different flowers, different duty.
• ● No in-line punching on this build.
• ● Sea freight, installation, site work, and a brand-new non-standard tile mould. The last one is a separate engineering job.

FAQ

Is 950 the coil width I should buy?
No. 950 is the formed cover width. The line takes about 1200 mm of feed. Buy coil to the feed width on the signed proposal.

Why are two speeds published?
8–12 m/min is the forming speed of the roller table. 3–5.5 m/min is the working speed, which includes stopping to press each tile step and to cut. Plan output from the working speed.

Can this line also run 828 or 840?
No. Each cover code has its own rolls and its own power package. A different cover code is a different machine quotation.

Is this the same as a 950 Arc machine?
No. The 950 Arc is a separate build with its own pitch, crown and stand count, and it takes dedicated rolls. If the roof needs curved tiles, say so on the inquiry and it is quoted as its own configuration.

Does the price include the ridge caps?
The ridge cap is a separate accessory line. If the roof package needs matching ridge pieces, order them alongside but separately.

What thickness can it run?
0.3–0.8 mm. Heavy gauge is not what this line is for; the roof-facing coating is the part that decides the finish, so confirm grade and coating on the inquiry.

Does it punch holes?
There is no in-line punching on this build. Fastening detail is dealt with by the drawing and the fixing method.
