914 Open Steel Floor Deck Roll Forming Machine

The ZT-DECK-914 open floor deck line takes colour-coated, galvanized or aluminium steel coil in at one end and delivers finished open floor deck sheets out the other - decoiled, guided, roll formed, cut to length and run out in one continuous pass.

What this machine makes

ZT-DECK-914 is an open floor deck roll forming line. It forms a ribbed steel sheet whose ribs stay open on the underside. The finished sheet is laid over the steel floor beams as permanent formwork for a cast-in-place concrete slab, and it stays in the slab as the decking reinforcement.

The sheet on this build is the FX75-305-914 profile: about 1250 mm of coil goes in and about 914 mm of effective cover comes out. Cover width is narrower than the coil for a reason - the ribs rise out of the strip, so the flat width of the coil is consumed by the profile. Strip on this line is 0.8-1.2 mm, in colour-coated steel, galvanized steel or aluminium.

The line is built around about 28 forming stands on a Ø90 mm shaft, with a fabricated welded plate frame and chain drive. Forming power is about 2 x 11 kW with about 5.5 kW hydraulic, and working speed is about 8-10 m/min. Cut-off is a hydraulic cut-to-length shear; a hydraulic front shear ahead of the forming section is available as an option.

• ● Other cover widths. Where a plant needs another cover width, it is quoted as its own build - see Options.
• ● Any cut-to-length or slitting line for preparing blanks and coil, and any separate heavy-duty decoiler.
• ● Sea freight, customs clearance and on-site installation.
• ● Structural design of the slab or the floor, load testing, and project engineering certification - these are settled by contract and by the project's own testing.

FAQ

Can it also make roof sheet?
No. Roof sheet is a covering profile and is formed on a roof panel line. A deck sheet and a roof sheet are different products.

Is the cover width the same as the coil width?
No. About 1250 mm of coil feeds this line and the effective cover is about 914 mm. The difference is taken up by the ribs.

How thick a strip can it run?
0.8-1.2 mm, in colour-coated steel, galvanized steel or aluminium. Confirm the grade with the inquiry.

How fast is it?
About 8-10 m/min in normal working. Work your output out from the sheet length you sell, not from the working speed alone.

What length can it cut?
The hydraulic cut-to-length shear cuts to the length you order. The length recipe is set at the control panel and frozen on the signed drawing.

What voltage does it need?
